Infographics are one of my new "fads" this year. I've realized that so many students glean more information from reading a visually compelling poster than from me talking about the topic. And then I realized that when they were given the opportunity to CREATE the infographics, they were processing on a much higher level and were so engaged! So many students are visual learners that it would be a mistake not to capitalize on this format for presenting information! And even better when these are generated by students - taking the information to a higher level of processing by creating a visual representation to convey the information to others.
